Once a struggling single mother working at construction sites to feed her daughters, Sunita Tamang transformed her life through Yes Helping Hands. With training and support, she mastered hand knitting and now proudly earns a living, weaving hope and love into every stitch. Her story reflects a mother’s strength, resilience, and the power of opportunity.

Born deaf and mute, Ashok Gupta faced isolation and hardship while struggling to support his family. Through Yes Helping Hands, he found not only stable employment but also dignity and purpose. Now crafting beautiful shawls with pride, Ashok’s story is one of perseverance, quiet strength, and the power of inclusion.

After a tragic accident left her partially paralyzed, Renu Tamang refused to give up. Through courage and perseverance, she rebuilt her life with the support of Yes Helping Hands, where she now works proudly to support her daughter. Her story embodies strength, resilience, and a mother’s unwavering love in the face of hardship.

Born deaf and mute, Kamli Badai overcame poverty and hardship to support her family. After joining Yes Helping Hands, she quickly mastered pashmina weaving and now crafts beautiful shawls with pride. Her journey reflects courage, determination, and the transformative power of opportunity for those who refuse to give up.
